Ashlee received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine in San Marcos, California. She has always been passionate about helping people to improve their strength and posture in order to implement increased well-being. She enjoys working with patients with postural disorders such as scoliosis and she is also very passionate about helping athletes improve their sports performance. Ashlee played softball for 11 years when she was younger and during this time she became a firm believer that exercise is the best medicine there is. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, she worked for 14 years as a licensed massage therapist and 5 years as a personal trainer. During this time Ashlee fell in love with the Pilates method and became certified in mat Pilates. She plans to continue her study of the Pilates method and use it as a therapeutic exercise method for her physical therapy patients. She states that what she loves most about physical therapy is the ability to help individuals with chronic pain while helping them to improve their quality of life through health and wellness. During her free time, she loves to cook, garden, practice Pilates, spend time outdoors, and hang out with her family and 3 dogs.
