Aleka Estrada, PT, DPT

Pediatric Therapy

Aleka graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. She has experience in a skilled nursing facility, outpatient orthopedic clinic, and outpatient pediatrics clinic. She also has experience in hippotherapy (utilizing horseback riding as a therapeutic treatment). Aleka says “I love being able to be a part of people’s lives and journeys, and help get them back to doing things that they love. I also love getting to hear people’s stories and building relationships while helping them achieve their goals. PT is such a fun and rewarding job!” Outside of work, she enjoys camping, snowboarding, hiking, rock climbing, going to the beach, and playing and coaching volleyball. I also spend a lot time with my family and nieces. Fun fact about Aleka: “During physical therapy school, I was able to do a pediatric internship in Anchorage, Alaska, in the summer. I got to go exploring every weekend, which included hiking on glaciers, kayaking around icebergs, seeing wild bears, moose, and caribou, and driving through Denali National Park. I can’t wait to go back one day.”
